To celebrate Breast Cancer Awareness Month (albeit a little late because I was travelling) I did a Think Pink post on my blog.
I needed the lipliner (MAC Brick), as I was wearing a bright red lip. The lashes were also for the party — it was actually the very first time I’d ever put lashes on. I thought I’d make a mess of it, but it went pretty smoothly! I chose these half-lashes (MAC #20) because I have naturally long lashes, and I just wanted it accentuate it with the make up look I was going for. And I’m officially a Tangle Teezer convert!

I was heading out for the night with a group of friends, and these were the products I used. I really, really liked this look. One of the reasons I like taking pictures of products I use is it reminds me of combos I like whenever I’m stumped.

my Barry M nail polishes. Completely different end of the price range, but also amongst my favourite polishes. Mushroom (second from left) is probably one of my favourite nail polishes and one of my go-tos. I know it looks like nothing in the bottle, but it’s a firm favourite of mine.
I’m a Chanel girl through and through, really, so it’s no surprise that you’d find Chanel in my polishes. These are probably my most worn nail polishes, so despite the steep price, I don’t regret any of them. I pick one up every year or so, and these were bought over the last six years.

My polishes are all in this little drawer right under my dressing table. I have 32, although 4 are base/top coats. These have been amassed over a number of years (about 15 or 16, I’d say — so seven or eight years ago).

In the pan, MAC Melba is paler than Sleek Coral. I feel like Melba is a peachy-orange, while Coral is a straight-up orange coral colour. The Melba is a matte shade, while Coral has a slight shimmer to it. It can barely be called a shimmer, really, but it does pick up a gleam (which I like).

I’m wearing my Return to Tiffany Heart tag pendant on a 34” beaded chain. It’s one of my favourite necklaces and was my first-ever Tiffany’s purchase four or five years ago. Because the dress was quite plain, this classed it up a bit, and matched the silver ring that I was wearing. I wasn’t wearing a watch or any other jewellery.

For this post, I’ve picked one of each shade, a nude, a brown and a black.
From left, Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in Perversion, Chanel Le Crayon Yeux in #66 Brun-Cuivre, and NARS Larger Than Life eyeliner in Rue Bonaparte.

Over the last two years or so, I have been falling steadily in love with Diptyque, even though I didn’t own any of their scents until this year. I would go into their boutiques regularly to smell their perfumes, and I began to have favourites long before I bought one.
I’ve been visiting popping into to smell L’Ombre Dans L’eau for about five months, and I finally went for it. Click the link to see exactly what I think of it.
These are all the products I used for a simple everyday makeup look. Click the link to see the look and see the breakdown of the products.
There’s a few items that have been on my wishlist for quite a long time. These are some of the high-end ones that I would really, really love to get into my collection.

I popped into Boots and Sephora to buy cotton pads, shampoo and conditioner, and toner and moisturise. Visit the link for the breakdown.
